Q: What will be the role of the utility if I purchase natural gas from Agway Energy Services?
A: Your current utility will continue to transport the natural gas through their existing pipelines to your home. They will continue to provide you with all of the services that you’re used to – such as reading your meter, maintaining your gas pipes and handling emergencies.
You have the freedom to choose your natural gas or electricity supplier. If you choose another supplier your local Utility will continue to provide the safe, reliable energy delivery services and will respond in emergencies, regardless of your energy supplier. Always report possible safety problems, such as a noticeable odor or natural gas leak, immediately to the utility’s emergency number.
Q: How will I be billed?
A: In most cases you will continue to receive a single bill. Agway Energy Services will be your provider for the natural gas commodity charge, whereas your local Utility will charge the cost to transport the natural gas.

Q: What will happen if I have a question or complaint about my bill?
A: If you have a question about the charges billed to you by your utility, you should contact the utility first. If you have a question about any other charges associated with your natural gas service, you should contact Agway Energy Services at 1-888-982-4929. We promise to do everything possible to promptly resolve any questions you may have about your bill. You may also contact your State Public Service Commission.

Q: What is your current rate?
A: We offer a variable rate that changes periodically. To see a current estimate, select your utility on the sign up tool for our up-to-date variable price in your area. Although that price is estimated, we guarantee that rate for the first 30 days of your initial contract so there are no surprises. And yes, that price INCLUDES the EnergyGuardTM repair coverage bundle!
Q: What happens after the first 30 days?
A: After the initial 30 days of your contract, the price will fluctuate periodically based on our cost to serve you. The rate shown in the sign up tool reflects an average of our recent prices at the time of publication. New rates are published near the beginning of each month.
Q: How much more does EnergyGuardTM cost?
A: Over the course of a year, a typical residential consumer will spend less than a dollar a day on top of the cost of energy to get the peace of mind that EnergyGuardTM provides.
